By submitting a manuscript to JEHS, authors confirm that:
- They have reviewed the Aims & Scope and ensured the manuscript fits the journal.
- The manuscript follows the JEHS Author Guidelines.

- They have read and adhered to all JEHS editorial policies.

- The manuscript is original, not published previously, and not under review elsewhere.
- All required institutional and ethical approvals have been obtained.
ARTICLE TYPES
- Original research (2,500–4,500 words).
- Abstract: single paragraph, ≤300 words.
- Structure: Abstract → Introduction → Methods → Results → Discussion → Conclusions.
REVIEWS
- Comprehensive literature analyses (≈5,000 words).
- No new/unpublished data.
- Structure: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Sections, Discussion, Conclusions, Future Directions.
- Abstract ≤300 words.
SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
- Structured evidence synthesis (≥4,000 words).
- Must follow PRISMA Guidelines + PRISMA Flow Diagram.
- Include search strategy, selection criteria, and protocol registration (e.g., PROSPERO).
- PRISMA adherence statement required.
CASE REPORTS
- Interesting/unusual cases (≤1,500 words).
- Abstract/extract ≤150 words.
- Minimal references.
CASE STUDIES
- Real-life interventions or organizational experiences (≤1,500 words).
- Extract ≤150 words.
- Minimal references.
VIEWPOINTS
- Opinions/commentaries on techniques or clinical issues (≤1,500 words).
- Summary ≤150 words; magazine-style writing.
COMMUNICATIONS

LETTERS
- Commentary on published work (≤800 words).

EDITORIALS
- Usually commissioned; unsolicited submissions allowed.

- A few references are recommended.
ANONYMIZED MANUSCRIPT
- Remove: names, affiliations, acknowledgments, funding, data statements, bios.
- Cite your own work in the third person
- Anonymize COI if needed.
- Ensure figures/tables do not reveal identity.
- Remove trial numbers/dates if identifying.
- Use neutral file names; clear file metadata (use Document Inspector).
- Do not include identifying info in any files sent for review except the title page & cover letter.
AI USE DISCLOSURE
- AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
- Include this statement before references:

WITHDRAWAL POLICY
- Free withdrawal within 7 days of submission.
- After peer review or editorial decision →withdrawal fee = APC.

- Authors may deposit all versions in any repository.
- No embargo; sharing allowed immediately after acceptance/publication.
